New listing on the Louisiana Artist Roster

Bienvenue sur la liste d'artiste de Louisiane!

The Louisiana Division of the Arts is pleased to present their newest artist member. Her name is Robin Toler and the news of her being put on the official state roster came earlier this week. The. Louisiana State Artist Roster represent a diverse range of artistic disciplines. After several years in the making, I could not be happier about this prestigious status. Robin Toler is now listed as an official "Louisiana Artist"! My application met their stringent criteria. My life long dream has come through after many years. This is really fantastic!

I want to thank the Louisiana Division of the Arts for all their support and encouragement toward completing the application. I understand many people apply and not many are accepted. Being on the official Louisiana Artist Roster will give me a super networking advantage giving art collectors, fans, and supporters more opportunities to view it. Much credit and kudos goes directly to The Louisiana Division of the Arts for accepting me for the Louisiana State Artist Roster. It is a privilege and an honor to be included on this list of distinctive Louisiana artists.

Houston Revival: Lost Art Collection Found

A long-lost collection of art works that were being displayed at a Furniture and Fine Art Gallery in the north Houston, Texas area have now been returned to Baton Rouge. On October 20, 2014 the search was over. This collection of over 25 pieces can now be integrated into the complete collection at Robin Toler Art Studio. After several years of being on exhibit in Houston, these pieces have come home. There is much celebration around this return. This collection contains mainly oil pastels from the Robin Toler Art Studio that are brightly colored and playful. Though long lost this vibrant art has finally been found. Thank you, Houston!!

Possible Uptown Art Exhibit at ManhattanJack

Can you say, “Uptown New Orleans”?

Have you ever heard of Crepe Nanu? Or the Upperline restaurant in uptown New Orleans? These are two fabulous restaurants. Well --across the street from both of these on Prytania Street, near the river is a fine coffee house called MANHATTANJACK. He is-- you guessed it--from Manhattan!  His journey south from Manhattan is a beautiful one. You got to ask him about it sometime. His place is elegant and upscale. Jack and I are in negotiations to get some of my beautiful work in his fantastic spacious location. It would be an honor to hang my art in his lovely place—even if it is only for a weekend! OK Jack. Let’s do this!
